'colourplay' 混-彩
Shanghai exhibition

Mar. 2006 - 'colourplay' is a joint exhibition with Australian artist Nicholas Burton at the BigWarehouse Gallery in Moganshan Lu, Shanghai.

Jonathan and Nicholas both 'play' with colour and have a fascination with China. For this exhibition Jonathan is exhibiting a series of prints using images of moving glue. The prints are presented in a traditional Chinese way on very tall scrolls. The images reference traditional Chinese landscape paintings but in their use of the glue imagery they placed in a contemporary context.

The exhibition opens on 8 April and run for 3 weeks.
